Lee's dad here. Lee arrived home from the hospital a short while ago, only to be called back for approvals for possible procedures. As you likely know, they found a couple of bleeding ulcers in Timna's stomach today. They thought they had the bleeding stopped. However, her blood pressure is dropping, and they have decided more action is necessary at once. Please pray for guidance for those caring for Timna, and for Lee. You all, as Lee's "prayer warriors" have been a significant help to him, and we believe we can offer praise and thanksgiving to God for His proving to us that "the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" !

Timna Update Monday 11/16/2009 12:30-ish am Eastern Timna is out of danger. They found that one of the ulcers they had taken care of earlier had started bleeding again. A followup exam is scheduled for tomorrow morning (strike that) this morning. She's getting more blood (I hope she doesn't break the bank). Now they are giving her a coagulating agent. Dialysis is out for tomorrow. This problem has taken it's place on the priority list. Can't do dialysis which requires an anticoagulant and a good blood pressure. I'll go home again and get an hour or two of sleep, get cleaned up and get back for the morning examinations. Please keep praying. Thank you. |
